What is a fireplace Insert?

A fireplace insert is designed to be inserted into an existing fireplace. These can be gas wood or pellet. They can go into masonry or zero-clearance wood-burning fireplace.
Do I need a fireplace before an insert installation?

Yes. an existing fireplace is needed to place an insert.
